The Diablo memory comes packaged in typical plastic blister pack.  Most stores further pack the memory in a box when shipping so damage shouldn’t be a problem.  The front of the packaging differs from many manufacturers, not actually showing the modules themselves.  Instead, it shows the RAM in front of a flame type of background, and is entitled “DDR3 Diablo - Extreme Performance.”  The heatsinks are the most important aspect of appearance, always grab my attention, and CSX have done a nice job here.  Being black and red it follows the theme we have seen so far from all Diablo products.  These tall heatspreaders are sleek looking and should effectively cool the RAM under even extreme benchmarking.  They are similar in appearance to Corsair’s DHX or Patriot’s Viper Fin, having tall slots to allow plenty of air exchange.  The heatsinks have a CSX logo on the left hand side, and the DIABLO brand name printed on both sides.  My only complaint with the appearance of these sticks is minor and superficial, I believe it would be nice to see a Black PCB to match the heatsinks!
